Installing NSP files directly from a PC using GOLDLEAF
Many of you asked me to do a guide on how to install NSP games to the Nintendo Switch, and now your wish comes true. Here, I have some physical game carts, and I have dumped it as an NSP game format. At this time I made this video, the console’s firmware is on 9.0.1 and on Atmosphere 0.9.4. FYI, AtlasNX Kosmos is based on Atmosphere CFW. Let’s open the Album while pressing and holding the R button. In this video, we will be using Goldleaf to install games directly from the computer. Before proceeding, we will have so setup some things to make it work flawlessly., Run the Kosmos Toolbox and choose Reboot to Hekate. We are back at the Hekate menu, we will remove the micro sd card from the console Make sure you already have the latest version of Atlas NX Kosmos. At the time I made this video, the newest version is 14.2. You might see a newer version than the on on this video see an updated version than the one on this video Download the latest version of Kosmos Patches Download the latest version of Zadig Then download the latest version of Java Download the latest version of Quark.jar from the Goldleaf github page And finally download and install WinRAR to extract all the downloaded archive This is the console’s micro sd card content. As you can see, I have already put some files inside it. To get the latest CFW package, let’s extract the newest AtlasNX Kosmos archive into it. Double click the archive, then drag all its content to the micro sd card. Replace all the existing files and folders To install NSP games, we need the signature patches. So open the Kosmos patches and extract all its content to the micro sd card. Replace the existing files and folders Replace the existing files and folders We are done with the micro sd card. Unplug it from your computer. And as I said before, I have dumped some of my physical game cart and I have put the NSP files inside the games folder. Actually you can put them anywhere on your computer as it doesn’t matter at all. And BTW, your console definitely could get banned even though you are installing games that were dumped from your very own cartridge. So I suggest you set up EMUMMC and use that for this project. My console is banned, so I got the freedom to install anything I want. Reinsert the micro sd card into the console Press Launch and select any of the two options. Only Choose EMUMMC IF you have set-it up earlier. In this video, I picked CFW on SYSNAND. Now press and hold the R button while opening the Album Select Goldleaf To install NSP files directly from your computer, we need to connect the console to the computer using a USB cable. Make sure you see the USB connected icon at the top of the screen Back to your computer, now we need to run Zadig Select Options and choose List all devices Select the Nintendo Switch from the drop-down menu Press the down-arrow and select libusbK, then press Replace Driver Now let’s install Java Press the Install button Then close the Installer Now you can run Java file on your computer. Double click the Quark.jar You should see the connected status inside the app. If you don’t then recheck your USB connection Now we need to set-up a path to a game folder. So press Add new path Select a folder which contain the NSP game files Name it as you like, but I named it GAMES Back to Goldleaf, select Explore content Then select Remote PC You should see the games folder. Select it Select an nsp file then choose Install, select SD card Press the Install button to confirm Unfortunately, we cannot install NSP files in batch so, we need to install them one by one. After you finished installing some games, then you can go back or you may directly press the minus button to exit Goldleaf. Press the home button to exit to the home screen You can see all the installed games at the home screen. You can try it and it should work fine. If there is a pop up window, then you can skip it by pressing Start Software. You can try any other games too And there you go, you have completed the guide on how to install games directly from your computer using Goldleaf.
